Started off my career in Hotel Sales & Conference organising at The Compleat Angler Hotel, Marlow in mid 1970’s, then progressed to Director of Sales and Marketing of luxury hotel group in UK and hotels in Barbados and Bermuda. Due to failing eye sight (have had successful corneal eye grafts to both eyes since!) joined my mother’s expanding property homes consultants business in Maidenhead.
Left her to join New Homes Sales in 1990’s and stayed in that industry (with career break to have two children) and then relaunched Iris Kirkwood Personal Estate Agents 3 years ago which my mother had let ‘fizzle’ out in the mid 1990’s due to property down turn. Now 3 years into this new era, business is growing and taking on more properties by recommendation offering a personal one2one service for busy people, helping them hopefully, sell quicker and achieve a good sale.
