Sarah London

Sarah lives in Maidenhead and has designed a new ‘stay up’ hood for rainwear called a POPHOOD. The design won a Platinum Award at the British Invention Show October 2006. Sarah also appeared on the ITV Richard Hammond 5 Oclock show in their Mothers of invention feature.
She has recently launched two new Pophood rainwear ranges – Waterproof jackets and ladies rainmacs – which are available for sale on-line.

Pophood Ltd

The hood has an innovative slim plastic frame inside the front seam which holds it up above your head. The hood pulls up as normal and is secured with velcro™ fastenings on the collar. Due to the shape of the frame it is strong enough to resist being blown back in the wind and rain.

No more unattactive drawstring hoods that leave your face uncovered and your hair squashed flat, and no more trying to manage an umbrella when you need both hands free for safety and convenience – now you can have a Pophood.
